Getting the Most from Your Glint Card
)
Did you know your Glint card can be linked to different wallets in your account? Understanding how this works can help avoid declined transactions and make spending even easier.
Where can I find my card?
Your card is located above the Balances section on your home screen. If you can't see it straight away, simply drag the Balances panel down to reveal your card.
Your card needs to be linked to a wallet
Before you can spend with your Glint card, it must be linked to a wallet that contains available funds.
To check or change your linked wallet:
Open the Card section.
Select Wallet.
Choose the wallet you'd like your card to spend from.
How do I know which wallet is linked?
In your Balances section, you'll notice a small card icon displayed next to the wallet your card is currently linked to. This makes it easy to see which balance will be used for your next purchase.
Can I spend from Silver?
At the moment, Silver wallets can't be linked to your Glint card, so purchases can't be made directly using your Silver balance.
If you'd like to spend funds held in Silver, you'll first need to exchange them into a supported wallet, such as Gold or one of your currency wallets, before linking your card to that wallet.
Top Tip: Before making a purchase, take a quick look for the small card icon next to your wallet. It's the easiest way to confirm which balance your card will use.
For UK clients: At Glint, we make every effort to demonstrate a balanced conversation between gold, silver, crypto and fiat currencies when it comes to purchasing power and, while we strongly believe that gold is the fairest and most reliable currency on the planet, we need to point out that it isn’t 100% risk free. While we have seen a steady increase over time, the value of gold can fall, which means that its purchasing power can also decline.
