A question we are occasionally asked is “why have I not received the withdrawal in my external account yet?” There are several reasons why the withdrawal may not have entered your account.

For US clients: withdrawals are processed as ACH bank transfers which have a typical time frame of 1-3 business days. Our payments’ department handles all withdrawal processing; some factors that can affect this time frame are:

•  Federally observed holidays
•  Withdrawals submitted over the weekend or after office hours
•  Additional verification may be needed

For clients in the UK/rest of the world, the situation is similar:

Our withdrawal service processes funds once a day (cut off 2pm GMT), and it takes 1-3 working days for the funds to credit depending on the currency and your location. If you need a same day payment, please let us know in advance and we will be able to do it for you for a £5 fee. Some factors that can affect this time frame are:

•  Bank (public) holidays
•  Withdrawals submitted over the weekend or after hours
•  Additional verification may be needed
