At a time of extraordinary monetary policy and when trust in currencies, banks and existing payment systems has been eroded.
Glint helps us move to a more just, sustainable and inclusive global economy

How does Glint keep my money safe?

Glint Pay Services Limited (company No. 10117131) is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (FRN: 900657) for the issuing of electronic money. Gold is not regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority.

We are required by law to keep your money safe by storing it in a low-risk financial institution. We safeguard your monies in segregated client accounts held with the Tier 1 banking institution, Lloyds Bank plc.

In the event Glint were to become insolvent your money is protected.

Glint is an EMI unlike an official deposit taking Banking Institution and does not have your money guaranteed by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

Details of the FCA approach for an EMI can be found here.
