Glint’s Easy Bank Transfer feature uses a secure connection interface provided by our trusted partner Plaid. This allows you to authenticate directly with your bank, without ever sharing your login credentials with Glint or Plaid.
Your data privacy is our priority. Glint’s integration ensures that only the essential information (like your account number) is securely transmitted once you've authorised the connection.
How to Buy Gold Instantly with Easy Bank Transfer
UK customers can follow these simple steps:
1. Open the Glint App
Sign in and tap on the Buy Gold feature.
2. Select "One-Time Buy"
Choose the one-time purchase option.
3. Choose Easy Bank Transfer
Select Easy Bank Transfer at the top of the screen.
4. Enter the Amount
Type in how much gold you want to buy in GBP. For example, £10.
5. Select Your Bank
Pick your bank from the list, or use the search bar to find it.
6. Authenticate Securely
Log in through your bank’s secure portal. Your credentials stay between you and your bank.
7. Choose Your Bank Account
If your bank has multiple accounts, select the one you'd like to use for the payment.
8. Confirm & Pay
Scroll down and tap Make Payment. Once confirmed, return to the Glint app.
9. See Your Gold Instantly
Your gold purchase is completed. You can view the gold grams you now own in your account.
What About Repeat Buys?
This feature is currently available for one-time purchases only. The ability to set up Repeat Buys (monthly cost averaging) using Easy Bank Transfer is coming soon.
